Why I am calling myself a Diet Survivor? It sounds dramatic but I have spent the last 2 decades dieting. Has it helped me to become slim and fit? Given that only 5% of dieters ever keep the weight off, the answer is obvious. You can read about my journey on my profile page.

One thing is for sure, I have never given up trying to find a solution to my weight problems. I finally understood that actually, it wasn't my fault or lack of willpower that made me binge eat. It was that I was eating the wrong food for me. Gary Taubes has coined the phrase: “We don't get fat because we overeat; we overeat because we're getting fat”.
